About The KPFA Crafts Fair

The KPFA Crafts Fair is the largest weekend Holiday Crafts Fair in Northern California, showcasing over 200 professional artists who support themselves through their craftsmanship and creativity.  The Fair features affordable art and crafts, presented in a warm-spirited atmosphere reflecting the Bay Area's great diversity.

The KPFA Crafts Fair highlights the brightest talents in contemporary art and craft, with both seasoned and emerging designers who produce one-of-a-kind, handmade and limited-edition goods in a wide variety of media. These jury-selected artisans and craftspeople combine new and traditional techniques with modern design aesthetics to produce appealingly fresh and innovative work. Each of them will be present at the Concourse to showcase their own work: Outstanding wearable textiles; fashionable jewelry designs; elegantly useful pottery & ceramics; luminous glass; innovative housewares; gorgeous, evocative photography; a variety of printmaking; contemporary paper goods; and a special area of Fair Trade goods from around the world.

The spacious Food Court features delicious fare, and provides ample seating for enjoyment of daily live music performances from 11am to 5pm. Custom coffee drinks will be provided by How Ya Bean, and Indian food will be provided by Spice Affair, along with other food concessions. Sitar player, Arjun Verma and tabla player, Nilan Chaudhuri will be performing live at the Mezzanine Food Court on Sunday, Dec. 15th at 1pm, giving you the opportunity to have a wonderfully immersive Indian experience within the Fair. Many such opportunities await!

For the first time this year, the Fair offers "Edible Tastings" - a selection of local food artisans who are passionate about their goods  - serving complimentary samples and selling products that will make great holiday gifts. Some of those exhibiting their “edible tastings” are: Way to Life Foods - Heart Healthy Granola & Cookies; Sal de Vida - Infused Flavored Culinary Salts & Gourmet Confections; Happy Girl Kitchen - Simple Delicious Farm Driven Foods; Grandma’s Homemade - Jams & Preserves; Oren’s Kitchen - Artisan, Savory Nuts; and Maison de Monaco-Unique, Handmade Preserves. There will be ample chocolate offerings in the crafts booths as well.

This is a momentous year for the KFPA Crafts Fair.  It marks our 43rd annual -and our final - year at the Concourse Exhibition Center. To commemorate this occasion, we offer a special discounted admission:  Buy a $10 ticket and your guest comes in FREE! As always, we offer free BART shuttles from Civic Center Muni Station at 8th & Market, and Caltrain Station at 4th & King Streets.
